What is Virtual Vacation?
Virtual Vacation lets you travel without leaving your chair. Pick a city and a mode, and you get a real first-person video of walking its streets, driving through it or flying over it, with the city's ambient sound. The walking and driving tours each cover more than 100 cities, and the flying tour more than 80.
It took off during 2020 when people were stuck at home, and it launched on Product Hunt around that time. There is more than just tours: City Guesser drops you into a street video and asks you to name the city, Live Cam shows real-time views, Monuments takes you to famous landmarks, and Virtual Window puts a view from a window somewhere in the world on your screen. It is a relaxing background tab and a good geography game.
