What is Nerdle?

Nerdle is a numbers game inspired by Wordle. Instead of a five-letter word, you have six tries to find a hidden calculation such as 12+35=47, using digits, operators and an equals sign.

Every guess has to be a valid sum. After each one, the tiles change colour to show which characters are in the right place, which are in the answer but in the wrong place, and which are not used at all. A new puzzle arrives every day, and the wider "nerdleverse" adds variants like mini, speed and pro, plus number crosswords and other puzzles.
