What is Bouncy Balls?

Bouncy Balls is a browser tool that listens through your microphone and turns sound into bouncing balls. The louder the room, the higher and wilder the balls jump, so children can see their noise level at a glance. It started life as Neave Bounce at neave.com, which now points here.

Teachers put it on a classroom screen to manage noise, but it is also fun to play with at home: shout, clap or whistle and watch the balls react. You can change the ball style, sensitivity and the alert that plays when things get too loud.

Main Features

  • Balls react live to microphone volume
  • Ball themes: plastic, emoji, numbers, bubbles and eyeballs
  • Adjustable sensitivity and number of balls
  • Optional noise alert: beep or shush
  • Full-screen mode for classroom projectors
  • Works in the browser with no sign-up
