What is Teal?

Teal is a job search platform with an AI resume builder, job match scores, cover letters and a Chrome extension job tracker for job seekers. The US company was founded in 2019, and its tools are used by millions of job seekers and are often ranked among the top resume builders in 2026 reviews.

Teal's strength is joining the resume and the job hunt in one place. You save postings from LinkedIn, Indeed and many other boards with the Chrome extension, and Teal compares each one to your resume to show a match score and the keywords you are missing. From there you can tailor a copy of your resume, generate a cover letter and track every application through stages like applied, interviewing and offer. The free plan is unusually generous; Teal+ adds unlimited AI writing and deeper tailoring.

Main Features

  • Build unlimited resumes from a master profile with ATS-friendly templates.
  • Save jobs from LinkedIn, Indeed and other boards with the Chrome extension.
  • Score how well your resume matches a posting and list missing keywords.
  • Generate resume bullets, summaries and cover letters with AI.
  • Track applications, contacts and follow-ups on a job board.
  • Analyze your resume for length, wording and repeated phrases.
  • Use email templates for outreach, follow-ups and thank-you notes.

How to Get Started with Teal

  1. Create a free account at tealhq.com and import your LinkedIn profile or an existing resume.

  3. Open a saved job to see the match score and tailor a resume copy.
  4. Export the resume as a PDF, apply and move the job along the tracker.

Teal Pricing

The Free plan includes unlimited resumes, the job tracker, the Chrome extension and limited AI credits. Teal+ costs $13 per week, $29 per 30 days or $79 per 90 days and adds unlimited AI content, full keyword matching and more templates. Teal's site blocks automated checks, so these prices come from 2026 reviews and may change.
