What is Career Dreamer?
Career Dreamer is an experiment from Grow with Google that uses AI to help people work out what to do next with their working life. You describe the roles you have held, your education and the things you are good at, and it drafts a short Career Identity Statement that sums up your skills in a way you can paste into a resume or a professional profile.
From there it suggests careers that may suit your background, lets you explore the ones that catch your eye, and points you to relevant jobs near you. It is aimed at people who find career planning hard: recent graduates, military veterans, parents going back to work and anyone with a non-linear job history. The suggestions draw on US labour market data from Lightcast and wage data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, and there is a Gemini hand-off to help you draft a cover letter, polish your resume or plan first steps. Your work is kept in your browser rather than saved on Google's servers.
