What is Pomofocus?

Pomofocus is an online take on the Pomodoro Technique, the method of working in 25-minute blocks separated by short breaks. It opens straight on a large timer and needs no sign-up to start, and the whole screen changes colour between focus and break so you can tell where you are at a glance.

Below the timer is a task list. Add what you plan to do today, estimate how many pomodoros each item needs, and the app works out when you should finish. Focus time feeds into daily, weekly and monthly reports, and you can adjust session lengths and alarm and background sounds. It also has downloadable apps for Mac, Windows and Linux.

  • Estimated finish time for the day
  • Reusable task templates
