What is KernType?
KernType is a game about kerning, the spacing between letters. Each round gives you a word in a different typeface with the letters badly spaced. You move them into place by eye, then the game compares your version to a solution and gives you a score out of 100.
It is part of Method of Action, a collection of free tools, toys and games for learning design, made by Mark MacKay. It is a fun way to train an eye for type, whether or not you work in design.
