What is HexGL?
HexGL is a fast anti-gravity racing game that runs entirely in a web browser. You pilot a sleek ship around a futuristic track, and its look and speed are a direct tribute to the Wipeout and F-Zero series.
It was built by Thibaut Despoulain using HTML5, JavaScript, WebGL and the three.js library, at a time when 3D racing in a browser was a surprise. It still works today, and its source code is available on GitHub. The online ladder has closed, so you are now racing against your own best time.
