What is Infinite Craft?
Infinite Craft is a crafting sandbox by Neal Agarwal, released on neal.fun on January 31, 2024. You begin with four elements, Water, Fire, Earth and Wind, and drag any two together to make something new. Water and Fire make Steam, and a few hundred combinations later you might have dinosaurs, famous people or entire fandoms.
Unlike older 'little alchemy' games, there is no fixed recipe list. When a pair has never been combined, a large language model (Llama 2 at launch) invents the result, and if nobody has made it before, you get a 'First Discovery' badge. That chase made it a huge hit on TikTok and Reddit in 2024, and it has its own Wikipedia article. Mobile apps followed later in 2024.
