What is A Soft Murmur?
A Soft Murmur is a simple web app for background noise. It has been a favourite of students and remote workers for years because it does one thing well: it lets you build a calm soundscape in a few seconds.
Each sound has its own volume slider, so you can mix gentle rain with distant thunder, or a crackling fire with crickets. You can also add a coffee shop murmur, a singing bowl or white, pink and brown noise, then set a timer so the sound fades out when you are done. A one time Pro purchase adds more sounds and features.
