What is Write & Improve?
Write & Improve with Cambridge is an online tool that helps learners of English get better at writing. It was developed by the University of Cambridge and uses automated assessment to give feedback on your writing within seconds, so you can practise as often as you like without waiting for a teacher.
You pick a task from workbooks with hundreds of prompts at Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced levels, plus Business and just-for-fun tasks, or create your own. After you submit, Write & Improve highlights words and sentences that need work, gives hints on where to make changes, adds motivational and topic feedback, and estimates your level against the CEFR. A progress graph compares your latest attempt with earlier ones so you can see improvement. Teachers can set up classes, and paid monthly add-ons offer exam-focused practice.
