What is koi.rest?
koi.rest is a quiet web page with a koi pond to watch. It calls itself a place to do nothing and regain your balance. The koi you see swimming are other people visiting the pond at the same time as you.
You can mix ambient sounds like wind, birds, chimes, crickets, a stream and rain, switch water caustics on or off, and choose whether to see the other visitors. Stay as long as you like, or set a timer for 10, 15, 30 or 60 minutes. It was made by Paul Glushak and was a popular Show HN in 2026.
