What is Crosswordle?

Crosswordle describes itself as Sudoku meets Wordle. It was made by Michael Yong and launched in early 2022, when Wordle was at its peak.

Instead of guessing a word, you start with a finished Wordle grid. The answer sits in the bottom row and every tile above it is already coloured green, yellow or grey. Your job is to fill in letters so each row is a real five-letter word that would produce exactly those colours, following the usual Wordle rules and never reusing eliminated letters.
