What is Prince Chazz?
Prince Chazz is a free puzzle game that mixes chess with a roguelite. You guide the little Prince Chazz across a chessboard while enemy chess pieces threaten the squares around you, so every move is a small pathfinding puzzle about which squares are safe.
Boards are seeded, so everyone playing the same seed faces the same board and competes on a per-seed leaderboard. There is a daily board, new random boards and music. It was made by Floris Veldhuizen and Tom Hutman of Maanraket and was a hit on Hacker News in 2026.
