What is IOPaint?
IOPaint, formerly called Lama Cleaner, is a free, open source and self-hostable inpainting tool. You paint over something in a photo, such as a person, a watermark or a scratch, and an AI model fills the space with matching background.
It includes several erase models, such as LaMa, MAT and MIGAN, plus diffusion models like PowerPaint and BrushNet for replacing or adding content, and outpainting to extend a picture's edges. Plugins add interactive segmentation, background removal, RealESRGAN upscaling and face restoration. It runs on your own computer in a browser page, with batch processing for whole folders.
