What is Eightify?
Eightify is an AI video summarizer for YouTube that works as a Chrome extension and as iOS and Android apps. It extracts key ideas from a video, adds timestamped sections, summarizes top comments and provides transcripts, in 40+ languages. It serves students, professionals and anyone deciding whether a long video is worth watching.
Long lectures, podcasts and interviews on YouTube can take hours, and many turn out not to be worth it. The extension adds a summarize button right on the YouTube page, so you see the main points and can jump to the section you need. Top comment summaries show whether other viewers found it useful, and summaries can be shared as articles.
