What is Arkham Intelligence?

Arkham Intelligence, usually called Arkham Intel, is a blockchain analytics platform that links on-chain activity to the companies, funds, exchanges and other entities behind it. Its search engine works across many blockchains and shows an entity's addresses, holdings and transaction history. Arkham says its database has more than 3.5 billion address labels and more than 800,000 named entities.

The Visualizer draws a network map of an address or entity and its counterparties, with inflows and outflows shown in different colours, and the Tracer follows funds step by step from one address to the next. Alerts can notify you by email, Telegram, Slack or webhook when a watched entity, token or address moves funds, and custom dashboards combine these views. Arkham also runs the Intel Exchange, where users post bounties in its ARKM token for attribution of specific wallets, and an API that is offered to approved applicants.

  • Multi-chain search for addresses, entities, tokens and transactions
  • Entity labels linking wallets to exchanges, funds, companies and other organisations

  • Alerts by email, Telegram, Slack or webhook, filtered by entity, token, value or chain

Arkham Intelligence Pricing

Arkham's core Intel platform, including search, entity pages, the Visualizer and alerts, is available with a free account. API access is granted by application and billed on credits, and Arkham does not publish list prices for it. The Intel Exchange uses the ARKM token for bounties.

Who Should Use It?

  • Journalists following funds linked to hacks, scams and public companies
  • Fraud and scam researchers tracing where stolen crypto went
  • Compliance teams checking which entities a wallet has dealt with
  • Crypto analysts watching large movements by exchanges and funds
  • Researchers studying how money moves on public blockchains

Arkham Intelligence Alternatives

  • Breadcrumbs: a blockchain investigation platform with attribution data and automatic fund tracing.
  • Etherscan: the standard block explorer for looking up Ethereum addresses, transactions and contracts.
  • Chainabuse: a free public database where people report and check crypto scam addresses.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Arkham Intelligence free?

The core Arkham Intel platform can be used with a free account, including search, entity pages, the Visualizer and alerts. The API is offered by application with credit-based billing, and prices are not published.

How does Arkham know who owns a wallet?

Arkham combines its own attribution work with public information and contributions from users, including bounties on its Intel Exchange. Labels are attributions, not proof, so check them against other evidence before you publish or act on one.

Public blockchains are open by design, and looking up transactions is legal in most countries. Keep research to entities, organisations and public-interest questions such as hacks and fraud, and follow the law and your own professional guidelines on privacy.
